Certificates of analysis

Every lot, on paper.

Each batch we release is documented on a certificate of analysis from an independent US laboratory. Here’s what’s on it, and where to find it.

What is on a certificate

It depends on the laboratory, and we do not flatten the difference. Every certificate we publish carries purity by HPLC against the laboratory’s own stated specification, an identity confirmation, the lot number and the date of analysis. Beyond that they differ, and the certificate on each product page says which tests were run and which were not — including, in plain words, where a test was not performed.

Identity is confirmed by different methods by different laboratories: by HPLC retention time against a reference standard, or by FTIR. The method used for your lot is named on its certificate rather than claimed here.

Our ≥99% release floor is ours. It is the purity at which we will release a batch, and it is stricter than the specification either laboratory sets. It is never presented as a laboratory’s finding.

Independent, not in-house

Analysis will be performed by a third-party laboratory and reported on its own letterhead. We will not grade our own work.

Matched to your batch

A released certificate reports the laboratory’s analysis of a sample drawn from one physical batch — not a generic sample. The lot code on it is the laboratory’s sample reference for that batch, and it is labelled as such wherever it appears. Our vials are not individually lot-numbered, so a certificate covers a batch rather than one specific vial; the certificate for your material is published on its product page.

Released certificates

11 released lots. Each certificate is also on the product page for the material it covers.
